April 27~ American Village and Sunabe park/beach

On a whim we decided to go take the kids on the Ferris Wheel for a treat on Saturday. After we had our ride we played some games and noticed it was the Grand Opening for this place that had a Panda on it, trick art is what the sign said. For a small fortune we got to go in and experience the illusion 3d art, so fun. Recommend this place if your looking for something different and fun. (sign said children 4 -high school 400yen and highschool and older 700 yen....however I don't know if it was a special due to opening day but we paid 1,500 for two adults and one 4yr old and 2 year old..) At the end there is a cafe with treats and ice cream for sale...

After some fun in American Village we ventured over to Sunabe "dolphin" beach and park, near Kadena gate one. The tide was low and the kids were in brand new shoes so we didn't venture out into the beach area, little mucky.

April 21 part two Kaigunko Park

Kaigunk Park

April 21 Onoyama Park

Off on our adventure and the first park we go to is 1/2 under construction, but we made the best of it and enjoyed the other play area they had available. The children had a great time playing and one had a lady running around with him pointing and talking about everything, while the other played in the sand box with a couple other children building sand castles :)

April 7 2013~Sueyoshi Park

Sueyoshi Park

• Small play structure
• Lots of walking paths
• Lots of stairs 
• Pavlovian to eat snacks, 
• drink vending machine
• Bathrooms throughout the area
• (note we didn't walk the whole park, so there may be more to it than we saw)

March 24th 2013~Tree House and Shisha Dog park

Tree House Park

• Bathrooms

• Climbing structure shaped as a tree

• Covered picnic area
• Walking distance to the Shi sha dog park

Shi Sha Dog Park
Just want to add a few pictures of this park too as it is in walking distance and is great to join the two parks in your trip.. Just walk down the road between the tree house park and the parking lot, its about 2-5 minutes (depending on the children walking) it will be on your right. Its a large cement Dog with a few things to climb on and slide down and an area to kick around a ball.. there are also bathrooms here too.
